Product detailed description
BreaSAFE ®respirators are made of a nanofiber membrane the ultra-lightweight structure of which allows for comfortable wearing for extended periods of time. BreaSAFE ® respirators do not have an exhalation valve and thus reliably protect the user and people around from infection.
Tests carried out by renowned institutions such as Nelson Laboratories USA (one of the few laboratories in the world that measure viral and bacterial filtration efficiency - VFE, BFE) have confirmed the exceptional level of particle capture (>= 99.9%) and high efficiency in the fight against microorganisms (e.g. SARS-CoV-2 virus, which causes COVID - 19 disease).
The individual components have been carefully selected to enable disinfection of the respirator extending its lifetime and user comfort. An internal study showed that even after 14 treatments with the recommended disinfection, there was no reduction in breathability, no damage to the outer or inner layer of the respirator and, above all, no reduction in the filtration efficiency of the membrane used.
Advantages of the Nano Respirator BreaSAFE Classic FFP3 NR 3 pcs:
- FFP3 filtration efficiency according to European standard EN 149:2001 + A1:2009.
- Capture of at least 99% of solid (average particle size 0.6 um) or liquid (average particle size 0.4 um) particles in the air.
- Lightweight and comfortable to wear, weighing only 19g.
- environment friendly production technology -> lamination of layers without harmful adhesive, only by heating and pressing.
- mechanically resistant.
- designed for use during high-intensity physical activity and for everyday use.
- excellent sealing properties and high FIT FACTOR.
- Suitable for skin contact conditions.
How Does the Nanofiber Membrane in the Nano Respirator BreaSAFE Classic FFP3 NR Work?
The nanofiber membrane is made up of nanofibers and acts as a powerful filter. In fact, the holes in the nanofiber membrane are so small that an air molecule can pass through, but a bacteria, virus or allergen cannot. PARDAM's NANO4FIBERS nanofiber membrane has been tested to trap particles of 0.1-0.3 um (100-300 nanometres) with an efficiency of 97-99%. Bacteria are typically between 200 and 1000 nanometres in size, viruses between 20 and 400 nanometres. However, this does not mean that the membrane cannot capture particles smaller than those tested. On the contrary.
At the nanoscale, we have to account for so-called atomic forces. Due to these forces, the most critical particle size for capture on membranes in air filtration is precisely 200-300 nm, but smaller particles are easier to capture due to atomic forces! Particles of 200-300 nm are the easiest to pass through membranes, so filter materials are commonly tested for this size. Particles larger and smaller than 200-300nm are more efficiently trapped and adhered to the fibres, as the Van der Waals forces come into play for small particles. In addition, bacteria and viruses are always attached to other aerosol or dust particles when floating in the air, and thus they have a larger size.
Where Can the Nano Respirator BreaSAFE Classic FFP3 NR Be Used?
- Healthcare,
- public administration,
- industry,
- public transport,
- personal protection.
The respirator can be worn repeatedly for days or weeks. It is not to be cleaned, it can only be sterilized. The maximum service life/lifetime of a respirator cannot be determined, it always depends on the conditions in which the respirator is used. The respirator must not be soaked in water or any other liquid.
The Respirator Must Be Replaced if:
- dust has penetrated the respirator and contamination has been detected,
- there has been a significant increase in breathing resistance.
The respirator must be stored in a dry and clean environment at temperatures between -5 and +40 °C.
How to Care for the Nano Respirator BreaSAFE Classic FFP3 NR?
We recommend sterilising or disinfecting the respirator after each use. It can be disinfected using a spray disinfectant, ideally based on alcohol or 2-propanol, we do not recommend hydrogen peroxide based disinfectants. The respirator can be sterilised in an electric oven at 70 °C for 5-10 minutes. Higher temperatures are not recommended as they could damage the nanomembrane. We do not recommend the use of a microwave oven due to the risk of fire. Both methods can be combined. Do not put disinfectant-treated respirators in a hot oven until they have dried thoroughly, due to the risk of ignition of the disinfectant vapours. Sterilization with a UV lamp is not recommended as it may damage the nanomembrane.
Instructions for Putting on the Nano Respirator BreaSAFE Classic FFP3 NR:
1. Grasp the respirator and place it against your face with the nose piece facing up.
2. Pull the straps over the head. Adjust the length of the strap so that it does not cause blistering, but at the same time so that the respirator does not move across the face.
3. Check the tightness of the respirator. If you detect air leakage between the respirator and the face, you will see an improvement:
- by moving the respirator to a more suitable position on the face,
- by adjusting the length of the straps,
- by moving the straps to a more suitable position.
The tightness requirements are unlikely to be met if the wearer has a beard on the part of the face in contact with the respirator sealing line.

fits well on the face, breathes well
I bought it for the second time. I wear it all day at work, so I appreciate the elastic band around my head - it doesn't pull on my ears. It breathes well, much better than in classic respirators and FFP2. It's big for me, I have to adjust it. I would appreciate the option to choose from more sizes. It's really quite expensive.
The rubber band tore off my husband while trying to put it on - that is, one side is somehow loosely wrapped around a plastic "loop". Somehow he connected with her, but the whole process took a long time, several minutes, I thought he was going to throw it away completely. It was difficult for him to breathe in the respirator, but it is true that he had the feeling that it was sealing perfectly. I tried to put it on, but it's too big for me. In the end, the husband had it once and voluntarily did not return to it. I can't force him. I'm pretty sorry about the whole experience, especially since I paid almost a thousand for them. An expensive attempt. I wanted good protection for us. In the future, I will give preference to nanoveils or nanoscarves.

The only respirator I can stand, pretty good he breathes in it. The elastic band is adjustable. I just have to always take the nose pad off because it's pushing me, otherwise I'm fine.
U I didn't have the slightest reservations about my previous purchases on this site, but I am grossly dissatisfied with this purchase. I unnecessarily wasted approx. 500,- for three respirators, which are absolutely useless...

Respirators
PARDAM produces and sells FFP2 and FFP3 respirators with nanofiber membrane, which works
Respirators are designed for comfortable use during demanding physical activity as well as for everyday use. They are suitable for working in a dusty environment, with organic solvents, but also for protection against allergens, viruses and bacteria.
Microorganisms, including viruses and bacteria, that get caught in the nanofiber filter will die in a short time thanks to the silver nanoparticles used. Therefore, users can use the respirator repeatedly and wait with it in health and well-being, even a possible several-week epidemic of a serious respiratory disease.
What is "COVID-19 Certification"?
In response to the new coronavirus pandemic, the European Union has issued a recommendation that regulates the way the market (especially medical and protective equipment) is supervised in relation to COVID-19. A new official certification type (alongside the FFP series) for COVID-19 has been created to test products against the new standard. As a result, users of COVID-19 certified products can be confident that the respirators are sufficiently effective against SARS-COV-2.
